Safeguarding Training and Awareness Day

This will cover important new and updated information for ecclesial, other organisation leaders and Designated Safeguarding Leads. Attending will help you to ensure our UK community's compliance and good reputation in an increasing area of critical public attention.
The morning session (10 to12.00) , covering both adult and child safeguarding principles, risk factors, behavioural issues, managing disclosures and scriptural principles for compliance is suitable for all.
The additional afternoon session (1.00 to 3.00) is for ecclesial and organisation DSLs specifically, and will go more deeply into safeguarding responses such as risk assessments, and contacting the LADO, Police and Children's Social Care where necessary.
